1 kg ham

3 tablespoons melted butter

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1/4 cup honey

2 teaspoons dijon mustard

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 tablespoon cider vinegar

1/4 cup pineapple juice


.add 1kg ham to a pot on medium heat and fill with water

.bring to boil and simmer for 30 minutes

.pre heat oven to 180 C / 356 F

.in a bowl add 2 tablespoons brown sugar,1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper, 1 tablespoon cornstarch and mix

.add 1/4 cup pineapple juice and mix

.add 3 tablespoons melted butter and mix

.add 1/4 cup honey, 1 tablespoon cider vinegar, 2 teaspoons dijon mustard and mix

.remove ham from water and remove plastic and trim some of the fat

.score the ham on the sides

.brush pineapple mix onto the ham

.place in oven and cook for 15 minutes

.after 15 minutes brush more pineapple mix on ham place ham back in oven for 15 minutes

.repeat this process 2 more times ( total 4 times / 1 hour cooking time )
