APPLE HALWA


INGREDIENTS :


8 Apples peeled, Chopped & Grated

3 Tablespoons Butter

1/2 Cup Sugar

1/2 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder

1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon Powder

2 Tablespoon Cashews

2 Tablespoon Almonds

2 Tablespoon Dates


INSTRUCTIONS :


.Add 3 Tablespoons Butter in a pan on medium heat.

.Add 2 Tablespoons cashews and 2 Tablespoons almonds and saute for 3 to 4 minutes

.Add 2 tablespoons dates and Saute for 2 minute.

.Transfer nuts & dates to a plate and set aside.

.In the same pan add 8 grated apples and sauté till juice from the apple is released and evaporates.

.Add the 1/2 cup sugar and continue to sauté

.Continue to cook till the liquid evaporates

.Add 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder, 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder and Cook for 1 more minute.

.Add the roasted nuts and cook for 1 minute
